Private Stores – Huge Success

Barnyard Screenprinting’s first team store is live, and a huge success.

Barnyard worked hand-in-hand with the coaches and players from the Mount Vernon High School’s volleyball team to launch Barnyard’s first private store.  This partnership allowed the team to present “Team Only” apparel for the team’s players and family.  This apparel was made available to purchase online, but the products were only view-able, and able to be purchased, if the customers had a private-store login.

The process followed a few steps, which we should be able to follow with any organization needing to have a private online store.

• Barnyard and the team worked together to finalize the designs and apparel offerings, and delivery options.
• Prices were determined based on the apparel choices, and the complexity of the designs.
  • Barnyard’s everyday reasonable prices kept the apparel prices low.
• Barnyard mocked up the designs on the proposed apparel.
• Barnyard created the private-store.
• Barnyard provided the team with their private-store link, and password.
• Team members purchased all apparel online, via the private-store.
  • All transactions were completed using Barnyard’s Secure Online Store.

We now offer this as a service to organizations.  Benefits are huge:

• Coaches, and administrative units, can stop handling money.
• There is a record of each sale, with sizes, quantity, etc.
• No need to pass out order forms.
  • Pass out a sheet with the products, link, and password.
  • Send a link to the store.
• Buyers can make multiple purchases, if needed.
  • Orders individually packaged and labeled.
• Site is operational/decommissioned on your schedule.
